Stekke is currently undertaking, for mid-2015, the major renovation and restructuring of the offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLp law firm in the Bastion Tower, in Brussels.
We have developed a new public space covering the whole of floors 24 & 25 based on a modern, timeless concept, with a minimalist design (1,500m²).
Stekke has fully redesigned these areas by creating a new reception area and lounge areas, 14 meeting rooms, a dining room, a class room, a new cafeteria and professional kitchen, etc., without forgetting its new terrace offering a prestigious view of Brussels. We wanted to create an office space that reflected the image of Freshfields for clients as soon as they enter the offices, with a welcoming, bright reception area.
We have used premium materials such as marble, oak veneer and Corain to create a high-class space. All the furniture has been selected and designed to combine everyday comfort and style.
The working environment of the 150 lawyers has been improved by the renovation of the five floors they occupy (5,400m²). Stekke has undertaken a complete renovation of the offices, with the refurbishment of some communal areas. A new design has been developed for lounge areas, with a new library, cafeteria and functional kitchenette.
