Ikaros 24

Bureau Stekke was commissioned to design the complete layout of an entrance hall at the Ikaros site in Zaventem.

The emphasis in this project was on completely redefining the space by establishing strong axes using decorative woodwork.

Light played an essential role in the design of the space, and an indirect one in terms of directional signage. Using linear lighting on the ceiling and walls, the intention was to invite visitors to intuitively navigate the space.
