Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer

We had the privilege of managing the major renovation and restructuring of the Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLp law firms at Bastion Tower in Brussels.

We have created a new public area on the whole of the 24th & 25th floors based on a modern and timeless concept with a refined design (1,500m²).

Bureau Stekke has completely redesigned these spaces by creating a new reception area and lounge areas, 14 meeting rooms, a dining room, classroom, new cafeteria and professional kitchen… not to mention a new terrace offering stunning views over Brussels. We felt that Freshfields’ image should be conveyed as soon as the client enters into the offices, with a welcoming and bright reception area.

High-quality materials such as marble, oak veneer and Corian have allowed us to achieve a high-end space. All of the furniture was chosen and conceptualised to combine everyday comfort with aesthetics.

By renovating the five floors that they occupy (5.400m²), the working environment of 150 lawyers has been improved. Bureau Stekke undertook a complete revamp of the spaces with the redevelopment of some of the common areas. A new design was created for the lounge areas, new library, cafeteria and functional kitchenette.
